Coach Annor Walker has assured Ghanaians that the Black Galaxies will improve when they face Sudan on Thursday in the ongoing 2022 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Black Galaxies find themselves in a tight situation following their defeat to Madagascar in their group opener last Sunday.
A number of errors from Ghana resulted in that shocking lost which got Annor Walker disappointed after the game.
However, the coach has expressed confidence in his side’s next encounter against Sudan asserting that the players are much aware of how crucial the match is to them.
“After the game, the players were really down because we lost the game. We have met as a team and I can see how focused they are on Thursday’s game.
“They know what is at stake on Thursday. They are ready and their attitude will be different on Thursday”, he said.
The clash with Sudan will be the final group match for Ghana, due to Morocco’s withdrawal from the competition.
Following CAF’s decision to award Ghana and the other two teams of Group C, three points each due to Morocco’s absence, the Black Galaxies will aim to win at all cost to qualify for the quarter-final of the competition.
