Manchester United set sight on signing Nico Williams
This summer, Manchester United FC of the English Premier League has set its sights on signing Nico Williams, a promising star for Athletic Bilbao who is also a target for Ghana.
The Red Devils, who are eager to add him to their roster before the 2022–23 season, have expressed interest in the 20-year-old.
Liverpool, another English powerhouse, is rumored to be monitoring his current predicament and is prepared to offer the youthful and quick attacker a steep discount.
The 20-year-old Ghanaian sensation participated in 34 La Liga games for the Bilbao senior team last year.
And despite just scoring three goals, he is already being predicted to play for either Ghana or Spain in future international matches.
Williams, whose older brother Inaki now supports Ghana internationally, attended the Bilbao academy.
The winger, who is considered to be the next great thing, is being closely watched by United as he develops at the club.
