[Watch Video] Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus scores again as Ajax pip RB Salzburg
Mohammed Kudus, a Ghanaian midfielder for AFC Ajax Amsterdam, scored for the second game in a row.
The Ghanaian forward gave the Dutch Eredivisie giant two goals in two straight games as they defeated Red Bull Salzburg of Austria in the Tpico Bundesliga.
Late in the first half of the game, with the score tied at 1-1, the midfielder headed in from close range with an astute header to give the Dutch team a 2-1 lead.
He also scored in Ajax’s previous match, a 1-1 draw with KAS Eupen of the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.
Given his early displays of excellence in that position in preseason friendlies, he is anticipated to play an advanced role for the club this season.
In two weeks, the Dutch Eredivisie will begin, and Kudus will be hoping and praying for a healthy season so he can prove his value to the Johan Cruyff Arena faithful.
